I don't think that is too much to ask.

Dog Poop... Starring Legos
You find a lot of things in your yard when you mow the lawn. Old small little toys that the kids have lost, some money, last year I even found a snake which was very upsetting. I do not like snakes at all. But I can understand a snake, our house backs up to the woods so of course any wildlife will occasionally sneak in. There is one thing that I don't like to find and that is poop. I understand that dogs have to go to the bathroom just like you and me, but as a family that doesn't have a pet, poop is the last thing that I would expect. You have a dog, make it poop in your yard, NOT MINE!

I cannot stand people that let their dog crap in my yard.

ReplyDeleteJohn,
ReplyDeleteI know it's a serious issue....but you made me laugh so hard at this video it wasn't even funny anymore....

Maybe I should just throw it at their door and run. I don't think they would have a problem with that.
ReplyDeleteShit happens... but just not in my yard!
ReplyDeleteGood fences make good neighbors. :)
ReplyDeleteThankfully, we have no wandering neighbor dogs to crap in our yard. We do have the occasional raccoon though...
ReplyDeleteThe banjo music makes the whole thing, really. :) I have to say, we rarely have poop in the yard, which is odd.... since we have a family of raccoon, coyotes, deer, bunnies, birds, and lots of snakes.
ReplyDeleteWe used to be the last house on a dead end street and people would just stand there watching their dogs poop in our yard when they took them for a walk. (Mostly off their leashes) Even when I was right there! It was like a minefield of poop. Our boys were really little and they couldn't even play in their own yard because of these a******s. I still get really angry about it and its been 12 years! So, I feel your pain and love the video!
ReplyDeletegreat post, I was laughing pretty hard. It's like that scene from Me, Myself and Irene, he poops on the neighbors yard, it's great. Going to follow you on twitter too.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time reading your blog and I must say you're awesome! Love the legos!!
ReplyDeleteWell it seems to me that their parents did a good job of potty training them. They poop in the woods and not in someone's yard.
ReplyDeleteIf I was one of them I apologize.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, these little Lego guys can be pretty funny
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by... I will tell them that you said hello.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. We have a large dog community around here. People are constantly walking their dogs and letting them poop and pee on our lawn. If you want dogs, let them poop in your own yard. But that's exactly why they walk their dogs, so they don't have to clean the mess. There is nothing like walking into a land mine of poop.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me that really happened not just in legoland :)
ReplyDeleteMy kids come running to the banjo music every time!
For those that have doggy dropping problems I can tell you what WE did. I waited outside on the front porch, in the dark, around the time the neighbors walked their dogs and when I saw them a-walking, I'd meet them at the yard and either have a bag waiting on them so that they could do pick up or (for 1 nasty neighbor) informed them that we had gotten a cat and would be leaving 'treats' from the litter box in our yard for the dog to find. Good luck with THAT doggy breath! Next night, waited again and saw her go the OTHER way with fido. Tee-Hee. Problem solved. Never happened again.
