Obviously that is a very difficult question. You don't want to give too much away, but you don't want to leave your 18 year old self just hanging out there with no guidance. Part of the fun of life is that you just never know what is going to happen next. Around the next corner could be something awesome, or something scary.
Well I was given the chance to speak to my former self on someone else's blog!
Jamie Walker has given me the opportunity to try and speak some sense into young Johnny at her blog Chosen Chaos. She has a whole series of bloggers that spew their wisdom to their younger selves, it's really a cool idea.
So today that's where I will be, trying to knock some sense into that thick head of mine.

I'd probably be like, "Watch out for the man in the hat." My 18-year-old self would hate me.
ReplyDeleteClassic question which is why there are such classic cliche's like, 'Youth is wasted on the young." For me, I'd only like to be young again if I could keep the wisdom I've gained along the way...
ReplyDeleteI would tell Andi-Roo of the past that it gets better after HS, & to hang in there, & not to worry about other people so much because they are stupid & thus not worth worrying over. And to be more confident, for goodness sakes! Also, to go ahead & try out for volleyball because who gives a shit if people are watching? They are stupid, remember?
